Now Auditioning for Spring Semester!

Membership in one of YWCP choruses requires an audition.

Our auditions for the Spring Semester will be done entirely online! After submitting the audition form, we will email you instructions on how to send us a recording of the potential chorister singing “Happy Birthday.” Depending on age and experience, we may reach out to you for a further audition via Zoom.

From your audition, the YWCP music faculty will determine which of our ensembles is the best fit for your age, vocal maturity and music reading ability.

Find our Audition Form here. Email auditions@ywcp.org for more information or with questions.

We also offer a non-auditioned class for girls ages 5-7: Arietta Singers.

Given the current uncertainties due to the coronavirus, we are closely monitoring the CDC and government guidelines, and will adhere to their recommendations for gathering together again to sing. We are planning multiple scenarios that may be used this spring as necessary, to keep everyone safe, yet creatively engaged in making music!

  • Singing in YWCP has given me a greater understanding of who I am as a young woman in this world, showing me that regardless of what society says, I truly can make a difference with my voice

  • It is a gift to have a conductor who wants to learn about the singers as people as much as teach them music.

    Esmé Vivo chorister
  • YWC reminded me of the importance of working together to achieve something beautiful. That feeling, being a part of something so much bigger than just you, is beyond magical.
