A World-Class Choral Organization for Young Women

The Young Women’s Choral Projects of San Francisco is a world-class choral organization for girls and young women ages 4-18. At YWCP, girls experience the joy of music and find their voices as singers and as artists—empowering them to achieve artistic and personal excellence.

YWCP Choirs teach young women substantial music skills and through the study of music, each chorister learns important life lessons such as confidence, focus, self-discipline, problem solving, responsibility and teamwork.

YWCP offers four choir levels: Prelude Chorus, Allegro Chorus, Vivo Chorus, and Young Women’s Chorus. Each level has its own curriculum and musical objectives. Based upon an audition, a singer is placed in a chorus appropriate for her age, vocal maturity and music reading ability.

Non-Auditioned Classes

We offer two non-auditioned music classes, Dolce Singers and Arietta Singers.

Dolce Singers – for girls ages 4-6 (Pre-K and Kindergarten) for early-start singing classes where no music training is needed, and only an expectation for fun is required.

Arietta Singers – designed for girls ages 6-8 (1st and 2nd Grade), this class continues to emphasize a foundation of healthy singing while engaged in a fun, interactive learning space. Arietta Singers prepares a young singer for the more challenging curriculum and rehearsal schedule for YWCP’s training choirs.
